Air-fryer chicken nuggets

Make these chicken nuggets as a snack or side dish, best served with ketchup. Instead of baking, they're cooked in an energy-efficient air-fryer.


- 1 pound boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

- 1 cup panko bread crumbs

- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1 tsp garlic powder

- 1 tsp onion powder

- 1 tsp paprika

- 1/2 tsp black pepper

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/4 cup olive oil

- Olive oil cooking spray


1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the panko bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.

3. In a separate bowl, coat the chicken pieces with 1/4 cup of olive oil.

4. Dip the chicken pieces into the bread crumb mixture, making sure to coat them evenly.

5. Place the coated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, without overcrowding.

6. Spray the chicken nuggets with olive oil cooking spray to help them crisp up in the air fryer.

7. Cook the chicken nuggets in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy your homemade air-fryer chicken nuggets!
