Ingredients:

- 1 pound pork belly, cut into 1-inch thick slices

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

- Olive oil spray (optional)

Direction:

1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, and dried oregano. This will be your seasoning blend for the pork belly.

3. Pat the pork belly slices dry with a paper towel. This helps the seasoning stick better.

4. Drizzle the pork belly slices with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, making sure to coat both sides evenly.

5. Sprinkle the seasoning blend over the pork belly slices, making sure to cover all sides.

6. If desired, lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking.

7. Place the seasoned pork belly slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket, as this will prevent the pork belly from crisping up.

8. Cook the pork belly in the air fryer for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. The exact cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your pork belly slices.

9. Once cooked, remove the pork belly from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

10. Serve the crispy and flavorful air-fried pork belly with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
