Ingredients:
- 12 lemons
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- pinch of salt
- 8 cups water
- ice
Direction:
1. Begin by juicing all 12 lemons and straining the juice to remove any seeds or pulp.
2. In a large pitcher, mix together the lemon juice, sugar, Cajun seasoning, olive oil, dried thyme, dried oregano, dried basil, dried parsley, and salt.
3. Stir the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved.
4. Slowly pour in the water and continue to stir until everything is well combined.
5. Taste the lemonade and adjust the seasoning as needed. If you prefer a sweeter lemonade, you can add more sugar.
6. Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
7. When ready to serve, add ice to the pitcher or individual glasses.
