blackberry vodka

Blackberry vodka

Try this easy-to-make blackberry vodka liqueur in a cocktail. Drinkable for up to a year, it's a great way to use a pile of freshly picked berries

Ingredients:

- 1 cup blackberry vodka

- 1/4 cup olive oil

- 1 tsp dried thyme

- 1 tsp dried rosemary

- 1 tsp garlic powder

- 1 tsp onion powder

- Salt and pepper to taste

Direction:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the blackberry vodka, olive oil, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

2. Place your desired protein (chicken, beef, pork, or tofu) in a large resealable plastic bag.

3. Pour the marinade over the protein, making sure it is fully coated. Seal the bag and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.

4. When ready to cook, remove the protein from the marinade and discard the excess liquid.

5. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Cook the protein for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.

6. Serve the protein with your favorite side dishes and enjoy the delicious flavor of the blackberry vodka marinade.

Note: This marinade can also be used for vegetables or tofu. Simply marinate for a shorter amount of time (1-2 hours) and adjust the cooking time accordingly. Enjoy!
