Broccoli and Chicken Stir-Fry

This chicken and broccoli recipe is easy to make by stir-frying chicken pieces with fresh broccoli in a mix of soy, ginger, garlic, and brown sugar. Serve with rice for an easy, pleasing dinner.

Ingredients:

- Broccoli

- Chicken breast

- Olive oil

- Soy sauce

- Garlic powder

- Ground ginger

- Black pepper

- Salt

Direction:

1. Start by preparing the ingredients. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and chop the broccoli into small florets.

2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

3. Once the oil is heated, add the chicken pieces to the skillet. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

4. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is fully cooked and slightly browned.

5. Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.

6. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and add the chopped broccoli. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

7. Stir-fry the broccoli for 3-4 minutes until it is slightly tender but still crunchy.

8. Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet with the broccoli.

9. In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of ground ginger.

10. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the chicken and broccoli and stir everything together to evenly coat the ingredients.

11. Continue to cook and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the chicken and broccoli are fully coated.

12. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

13. Serve the broccoli and chicken stir-fry hot over a bed of rice or noodles, or enjoy it as is. You can also top it with some sesame seeds or chopped green onions for added flavor and presentation. Enjoy!
