Caramilk scrolls

Using a Kmart pie maker and only 7 ingredients, these sweet scrolls are the perfect morning tea treat.


- 1 package of pre-made puff pastry

- 1 bar of Caramilk chocolate

- 2 tablespoons of olive oil

- Salt and pepper

- Dried oregano (optional)


1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll out the pre-made puff pastry onto a floured surface. Using a rolling pin, gently roll out the pastry to make it slightly thinner.

3. Break the Caramilk chocolate into small pieces and scatter them evenly on top of the puff pastry.

4. Starting from one end, carefully roll the pastry into a log, making sure to keep the chocolate pieces inside.

5. Using a sharp knife, cut the log into even slices, about 1 inch thick.

6. Place the slices onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.

7. Drizzle the olive oil over the slices and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. For an extra flavor, sprinkle some dried oregano on top.

8. Bake the Caramilk scrolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.

9. Once done, remove the scrolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

10. Serve the Caramilk scrolls warm and enjoy the gooey, chocolatey goodness. You can also store them in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
