Ingredients:
- 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cooked rice, for serving (optional)
Direction:
1. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, soy sauce, water, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
