chicken fingers

Chicken Fingers

Chicken fingers is an American invention consisting of strips of white poultry meat that are coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried in hot oil. They are often served as an appetizer or a snack, although they can be consumed as a main meal, preferably with dips such as ketchup, mayonnaise, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce on the side.

Ingredients:

- 1 pound chicken tenders

- 1/2 cup flour

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Direction:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

3. Dip each chicken tender into the flour mixture, coating it evenly on all sides.

4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

5. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken tenders to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

6. Transfer the chicken tenders to the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until fully cooked and crispy.

7. Serve the chicken fingers with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy! You can also sprinkle some extra seasoning on top for added flavor.
