Chicken Tenders

Chicken tenders is a dish of breaded and fried strips of chicken coming from the pectoralis minor, located underneath the chicken breast. The meat is more tender, and when properly prepared, it should be moist and more tender than chicken fingers, which are made from chicken breast.

Ingredients:

- 1 lb chicken tenders

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- 1 teaspoon paprika

Direction:

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, and paprika.

3. Place the chicken tenders in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil.

4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken tenders and use your hands to evenly coat them with the spices.

5. Place the chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

7. Optional: For a crispy coating, broil the chicken tenders for 2-3 minutes at the end of cooking.

8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or on top of a salad for a healthy meal. Enjoy!
