Ingredients:
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 large head of broccoli, cut into small florets
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Direction:
1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and cornstarch. Set aside.
2. Heat a large wok or pan over high heat. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil and swirl to coat the pan.
3. Add the sliced beef to the hot pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
4. In the same pan, add another 1 tbsp of olive oil and swirl to coat. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
5. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the broccoli and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the broccoli.
6. Add the beef back into the pan and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes to heat it through.
7. If desired, add salt and pepper to taste, as well as red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
8. Serve hot over rice or noodles. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for added flavor and crunch.
