Chocolate salted caramel cookie cake

Bake this show-stopping chocolate cake topped with decadent salted caramel and cookies. Perfect for celebrating a special occasion


- 1 box of chocolate cake mix

- 1/2 cup olive oil

- 2 eggs

- 1/4 cup water

- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

- 1/4 cup caramel bits

- 1 tsp sea salt

- 2 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1 tsp nutmeg

- 1 tsp allspice



1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan with olive oil.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, olive oil, eggs, water, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

3. Fold in the chocolate chips and caramel bits into the cake batter.

4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.

5. Sprinkle the sea salt on top of the batter, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

6. Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7. Once cooked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

8. Carefully remove the cake from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

9. Serve the chocolate salted caramel cookie cake as is or with a dusting of powdered sugar on top. Enjoy!
