Ingredients:

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 egg

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/4 teaspoon ginger

- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

- Olive oil for greasing

- Powdered sugar for dusting

Direction:

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a dough forms.

6. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

7. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil and place the dough balls on it, leaving about 2 inches of space between each.

8. Using the back of a fork, gently press down on each dough ball to create a crisscross pattern.

9. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

10. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

11. Once cooled, dust the cookies with powdered sugar for a festive touch.

12. Serve and enjoy your delicious Christmas crinkle cookies! You can also store them in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
