Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Olive oil for greasing
- Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
6. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
7. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil and place the dough balls on it, leaving about 2 inches of space between each.
8. Using the back of a fork, gently press down on each dough ball to create a crisscross pattern.
9. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
10. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
11. Once cooled, dust the cookies with powdered sugar for a festive touch.
