Easy chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients:

-1 cup all-purpose flour

-1/2 cup white sugar

-1/4 cup brown sugar

-1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

-1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

-1 egg

-1/2 tsp baking soda

-1/2 tsp salt

-1 tsp vanilla extract

-Olive oil for greasing

Direction:

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil.

2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.

3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.

4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.

5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips until they are evenly dispersed throughout the dough.

6. Take small spoonfuls of the dough and roll them into balls, placing them onto the greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

9. Serve and enjoy your easy and delicious chocolate chip cookies! You can also store them in an airtight container for up to a week.
