Edible cookie dough

Our easy cookie dough mixture is totally safe to eat and can be made in minutes. Keep a batch in the fridge, eat it by the spoon, serve it with ice cream, or mould it, shape it and colour it with food dye

Ingredients:

-1 cup all-purpose flour

-1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

-1/4 cup granulated sugar

-1/4 cup brown sugar

-2 tablespoons milk

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-1/2 teaspoon salt

-1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

-Olive oil (for greasing)

-Seasoning (optional)

-Dried spices (optional)

Direction:

Instructions:

1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix together until well combined.

2. Add in the milk and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture. Mix until fully incorporated.

3. Slowly add in the flour and salt to the mixture. Mix until a dough forms. If the dough seems too dry, add a little more milk. If it seems too wet, add a little more flour.

4. Once the dough is formed, add in the mini chocolate chips and mix until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

5. Lightly grease a small baking dish or container with olive oil. This will prevent the dough from sticking.

6. Transfer the cookie dough mixture to the greased dish and press it down evenly with a spatula or your hands.

7. If desired, you can add some seasoning or dried spices to the top of the cookie dough for extra flavor. Some options could include cinnamon, nutmeg, or even a sprinkle of sea salt.

8. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the dough to firm up.

9. Once chilled, remove the cookie dough from the refrigerator and cut it into small squares or scoop it into small balls.

10. Serve and enjoy your homemade edible cookie dough! You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
