We always have a good supply of fresh fish, so I make fish recipes often. This recipe is my favorite because it is moist, tender and flavorful.
Ingredients:
- 4 white fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or halibut)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Direction:
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
2. Rinse the fish fillets with cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
3. Place the fish fillets on a baking dish and drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over them. Use your hands or a brush to evenly coat the fillets with the oil.
4. In a small bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon each of dried parsley, thyme, oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture over the fish fillets, making sure to cover both sides.
5. Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fish fillets. The fish should be flaky and opaque when done.
7. Once done, remove the baking dish from the oven and let the fish cool for a few minutes before serving.
8. Serve the fast baked fish with your choice of side dishes, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad. Enjoy your quick and delicious meal!
