Flavorful Chicken Fajitas

Sizzling chicken fajitas are super easy to make and full of flavor. The secret is in the skillet, which can go from stove to table for restaurant-quality presentation.


- 1 lb chicken breast

- 1 red bell pepper

- 1 yellow bell pepper

- 1 green bell pepper

- 1 onion

- 2 cloves of garlic

- Olive oil

- Salt

- Black pepper

- Chili powder

- Cumin

- Paprika

- Garlic powder

- Onion powder

- Tortillas (optional)



1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and place them in a large mixing bowl.

3. Cut the bell peppers, onion, and garlic cloves into thin strips and add them to the bowl with the chicken.

4. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and vegetables and mix well to evenly coat everything.

5. In a separate small bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of onion powder.

6. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken and vegetables, and toss until everything is evenly coated.

7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the chicken and vegetables in a single layer.

8. Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender.

9. While the chicken and vegetables are cooking, warm up the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.

10. Once the chicken and vegetables are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

11. Serve the chicken and vegetable mixture on warm tortillas, and top with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, salsa, sour cream, or avocado.
