A stir fry recipe I developed to satisfy a family of garlic lovers.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into thin strips
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt, to taste
Direction:
1. In a bowl, mix the chicken strips with soy sauce, ginger powder, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
2. Heat the olive oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes, until it is almost cooked through.
4. Add the minced garlic and sliced onions to the chicken and continue to stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
5. Next, add the sliced bell pepper and broccoli florets to the wok and stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
6. Season with salt, to taste.
7. Serve the garlic chicken stir-fry over a bed of rice or noodles. Enjoy your delicious and easy meal!
