Ingredients:

- 6 hot cross buns

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 onion, chopped

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 bell pepper, diced

- 1 cup cooked ham, diced

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 1/4 cup milk

- 2 eggs

Direction:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cut the hot cross buns in half horizontally and place them in a 9-inch pie dish with the cut sides facing up.

3. In a frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper. Cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are soft.

4. Add in the diced ham, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 3 minutes.

5. Spoon the ham and vegetable mixture evenly over the hot cross buns.

6. In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 eggs and 1/4 cup of milk. Pour the mixture over the ham and vegetables.

7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the pie.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully cooked.

9. Let the hot cross bun pie cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
