Keto Bacon Chicken Thighs With Garlic Cream Sauce

There’s nothing more magical than a juicy chicken thigh topped with a perfect shard of crispy skin. Here, we amp it up even MORE (if that’s possible) by cooking the chicken thighs in bacon fat and topping them in a mushroom Parmesan cream sauce.

Ingredients:

- 4 chicken thighs

- 4 slices of bacon

- 2 cloves of garlic

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- Salt and pepper

- Dried thyme

- Dried parsley

- 1/4 cup heavy cream

Direction:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Season both sides of the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, dried thyme, and dried parsley.

3. Wrap each chicken thigh with a slice of bacon, making sure to cover as much of the chicken as possible.

4. Place the chicken thighs on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.

5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the bacon is crispy.

6. While the chicken is baking, prepare the garlic cream sauce. Finely chop the garlic cloves and sauté them in a small saucepan with some olive oil until fragrant.

7. Add the heavy cream to the pan and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

8. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

9. Pour the garlic cream sauce over the chicken thighs and serve hot.
