How can something this creamy and delicious be keto!? These easy pork chops come complete with a mushroom cream sauce that you'll want to pour over everything.
Ingredients:
- 4 pork chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
Direction:
1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary.
3. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Add the seasoned pork chops to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are lightly browned.
5. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
6. Bake the pork chops in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
7. While the pork chops are baking, prepare the garlicky cream sauce. In the same skillet that you used to cook the pork chops, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
8. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
9. Once the pork chops are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
10. Serve the pork chops with the garlicky cream sauce drizzled on top. You can also serve them with a side of steamed vegetables or a salad for a complete keto meal. Enjoy!
