Spinach and feta triangles meet Turkish gozleme in this easy finger food recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of store-bought wonton wrappers
- 1 cup of crumbled feta cheese
- 1 cup of chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp of dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp of dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- Olive oil for frying
Direction:
1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the crumbled feta cheese, chopped spinach, chopped parsley, olive oil, salt, pepper, dried oregano, dried thyme, and garlic powder. Stir until well combined.
2. Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place a spoonful of the feta cheese mixture in the center of the wrapper.
3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with a little water. Fold the wrapper in half, creating a triangle shape. Press the edges firmly to seal the parcel.
4. Repeat this process with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling.
5. In a large pan, heat enough olive oil to cover the bottom of the pan. Carefully place the mini gozleme parcels in the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
6. Once cooked, remove the parcels from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
7. Serve the mini gozleme parcels hot, with a side of tzatziki sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
Enjoy your delicious and easy homemade mini gozleme parcels using only a few simple ingredients! You can also experiment with different fillings, such as ground meat or different types of cheese. Enjoy!
