Moroccan-style lamb burgers

- 1 lb ground lamb

- 1 small onion, finely chopped

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

- 1 tsp cumin

- 1 tsp paprika

- 1/2 tsp cinnamon

- Salt and pepper, to taste

- 2 tbsp olive oil

- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion, tzatziki sauce

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.

2. Use your hands to mix everything together until well combined.

3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

4. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

5. Add the lamb patties to the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness.

6. While the burgers are cooking, you can prepare any desired toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, or red onion.

7. Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes.

8. Serve the burgers on buns or on a bed of lettuce, topped with any desired toppings and a drizzle of tzatziki sauce.
