Paleo Pizza

Wait, you can eat pizza on the paleo diet?! Sure can! You just have to make a almond flour crust and use dairy-free cheese. We went supreme-style with mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, and red onion, but you do you!

Ingredients:

- 1 Paleo pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

- 1/4 cup tomato sauce

- 1/2 cup shredded paleo-friendly cheese

- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers

- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms

- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion

- 1/4 cup diced cooked chicken

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- Salt and pepper, to taste

Direction:

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.

3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the sauce, covering the entire surface of the pizza.

5. In a small bowl, mix together the bell peppers, mushrooms, red onion, diced chicken, olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

6. Spread the vegetable and chicken mixture over the cheese, evenly distributing it over the pizza.

7. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Enjoy your delicious and healthy Paleo pizza! You can also add other paleo-friendly toppings such as olives, spinach, or sliced tomatoes, according to your preference.
