Passion fruit mule

Make a mule with a tropical twist by adding passion fruit to the classic vodka and ginger beer mixture – it's a crowd-pleaser


- 4 passion fruits

- 2 ounces vodka

- 1 ounce lime juice

- 3 ounces ginger beer

- Olive oil

- Salt

- Black pepper


1. Begin by slicing the passion fruits in half and scooping out the pulp and seeds into a blender. Blend until smooth.

2. Strain the passion fruit puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove any seeds. Set aside.

3. In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of lime juice, and 1 ounce of the passion fruit puree.

4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until all ingredients are combined.

5. Rim a copper mule mug with olive oil by dipping the rim of the mug into a small dish of olive oil and then dipping it into a mixture of salt and black pepper.

6. Fill the mug with ice and strain the cocktail from the shaker into the mug.

7. Top the cocktail with 3 ounces of ginger beer and give it a quick stir.

8. Garnish with a slice of passion fruit and enjoy your refreshing Passion Fruit Mule!
