Restaurant-Style Beef and Broccoli

I make this beef and broccoli recipe when I want Chinese food without going out. It's very easy to prep and delicious served over rice.

- 1 lb beef, sliced into thin strips

- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 tablespoon soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon cornstarch

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder

- Salt and pepper, to taste

1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, and ginger powder. Set aside.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

3. Once the oil is hot, add the beef strips and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and the broccoli florets. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until slightly tender.

5. Return the beef to the skillet with the broccoli.

6. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli. Stir to coat evenly.

7. Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.

8. Add salt and pepper to taste, if desired.

9. Once the beef and broccoli are fully cooked and coated in the sauce, remove from heat.

10. Serve the beef and broccoli stir fry over a bed of rice or noodles for a complete meal. Enjoy your restaurant-style dish at home!
