These quick and easy crumbed balls are stuffed full of sweet potato, salami, cheese and pizza sauce.
Ingredients:
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil for greasing
- Optional: marinara sauce for dipping
Direction:
1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
2. Peel and grate the sweet potatoes using a cheese grater. Place the grated sweet potatoes in a large mixing bowl.
3. Add the all-purpose flour, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the grated sweet potatoes. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
4. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
5. Using your hands, form the sweet potato mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on the greased baking sheet, leaving some space between each ball.
6. Bake the sweet potato pizza balls in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
