Try our best-ever vegan chocolate chip cookies. Non-vegans will be hard pressed to notice the difference between these and their favourite choc chip biscuits
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup vegan butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
- Olive oil, for greasing

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened vegan butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
3. Add in the vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
4. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and mix until a dough forms.
6. Gently fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
7. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, form the dough into small balls and place them onto a greased baking sheet.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
