Ingredients:
- 6 slices bread (any variety)
- 1 cup non-dairy milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Maple syrup (optional)
Direction:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the non-dairy milk, flour, nutritional yeast, olive oil, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until well combined and smooth.
2. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium-high heat and lightly coat with olive oil.
3. Dip one slice of bread into the batter, making sure it is coated on both sides. Let any excess batter drip off before placing it onto the hot pan.
